Kojima confirma que vai haver mais MGS

Numa entrevista com o site Reuters, criador de Metal Gear Solid Hideo Kojima confirmou que a série irá sem dúvida ter continuação. Já todos nós sabemos (para quem não souber SPOILER ALERT!) que Solid Snake conhece o seu fim neste capitulo, mas isso não significa que a série também tenha de conhecer o seu fim.

“MGS will always be around. I feel a responsibility to continue this series as long as users demand it. But it doesn’t mean I’m going to sit in completely,” disse Hideo Kojima. “I’ll probably take a different role in the next game. Maybe I’ll sit in as producer and let the young staff take control of the new series. I really want to go on to new things.”

Na mesma entrevista, Kojima partilha os seus pensamentos em como ele achará que a convergência da multimédia digital com o entretenimento será.

“When entertainment becomes digital, there can be a great collaboration between games and other kinds of entertainment like movies or even novels. All these things might form together to form a coherent medium,” disse Kojima. “I can’t really predict precisely that this will happen in two or three years or whatever. But the trend is there, things are happening and I believe that convergence will happen sooner or later.”

Já não há dúvidas! Dito pelo criador e tudo, mais oficial não dá. Todos os fãs poderão esperar por mais capitulos de Metal Gear Solid. e Com rumores de haver cut-scenes com 90 minutos, bem parece que a série está a a abraçar esta nova convergência de multimédias digitais.
